FINDING HOPE & LIGHT THROUGH SURAH AD-DHUHA
At least once in our lifetime, we have all experienced a deep sense of uncertainty, anxiety, doubt, or other heavy emotions about the circumstances surrounding us. This often includes feelings about ourselves and our place in the world. During such times, we begin to question the events unfolding in our lives—whether we are making the right decisions or why certain calamities have befallen us. We ask ourselves what lessons the Almighty intends for us to learn through these challenges.
What makes these moments even more difficult is the long wait for answers or relief from Him (or the uncertain duration), sometimes leading us to wonder if what we are enduring is a test of faith or a form of punishment. This was the very experience of our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
Yet, through the revelation of Surah Ad-Dhuha, he found immense comfort in the reminder that he was never abandoned nor forsaken by Allah ﷻ. The message conveyed in this chapter offers a timeless assurance—that hope and mercy are always present, even in our darkest moments.
