Programme Overview
Quran Village is a free, nightly online Quran recitation space created to support beginners, slow reciters, and those returning to the Quran during Ramadan.
Unlike traditional tadarus sessions that prioritise completing the Quran, Quran Village focuses on connection over completion, allowing participants to recite just one or two verses, or simply listen, without pressure or judgement.
The initiative was inspired directly by student questions about how beginners can meaningfully participate in Ramadan recitation when the pace feels overwhelming.
Key Objectives
Provide a safe, inclusive entry point to Quran recitation
Support consistency without performance pressure
Encourage men and women to reconnect with the Quran at their own pace
Normalise imperfect, sincere recitation as part of worship
